Default Advice needed - turbo running gear!

Heres the deal, I got a mint bonus as my run about and I wanna turbo it but leave the standard bumpers and that on it to scare some of the kids around here! Few questions:

1) If i buy a rotten/scrap/smashed rst, is it just a case of having them beside each other and swapping everything over, i.e tank, wiring, engine etc?

2) How reliable is standard running gear? Was thinkin a stainless, air filter and dump valve coz i cannot be assed with rebuildin it every two weeks!

3) Whats the key to keepin it reliable??

There you go guys, whaddya think?

keep to a std rs exhaust, as it will show a rusty small pipe out the back, a stainless 4 inch jobbie would give the game away, as would a dumpvalve

What wheels you thinkin of puttin on???

If you want to put std steel wheels on, you would need a s1/xr3i set of front brakes as the s2 would foul the rim

Oh, an a nice "turbo" graphic on the boot, with those 79p purple letters you get from car shops, that would rock

Clothes hung up in the back, bent ariel, and some tacky bits hangine off the mirror

As it is the now, the car is silver, with standard bumpers, lowered on S2 Turbo rims with tints, clear indicators and smoked back lights. Must get some photo's up of it. Old boy from new, 30k, driven to shops and back for the first 15 years of its life.

Think I'm gonna leave it like this but obv the RST brakes will fit under the RST wheels so thats cool, It has a 3" exhaust on it the now so I would prob just have that on it when the turbo running gear goes in. Need a dump valve though, I need that noise!!!

TIme to start looking for a scrap RST, my mate has found one lying on a farm so that can be my first port of call. Thing is, I've never had one before, drove an S1 and an S2 but I'm wondering how problematic its gonna be? I need it to be reliable.
