Default Insurance brokers.

Can anyone recommend a good insurance broker for my S1? I'd prefer to get it on limited mileage classic policy if poss.

My current insurer wants over £750!!! I'd rather leave it in the garage and use that money on doing sumit to it than get poo-piped!!

i found an excellent insurer called MCE, they specialise in motorbikes but have branched out and gave me a very competitive £325 quote for mine on a limited mile policy not using my no claims

HIC where very good price as well

Are all your mods declared with Budget and Tesco? If so, that's really good value.

Adrian Flux or HIC (if you can get hold of them) all do classic policies at very good prices. You also do not use any NCB so you can use that on a 2nd vehicle.

I got stupidly cheap insurance quotes for an S2 RS Turbo from www.confused.com, only to see that although Id put the correct car details into Confused.com, when it went to get quotes from Asda and RAC etc, it had been telling them that the car I was after was a 1600 ghia, not an RS Turbo....

Then got a good quote from Adrian Flux - Made my day!
