managment choice ,...either emerald or DTA

Default managment choice ,...either emerald or DTA

RIGHT

ive the choice either between emerald or dta , which is better is there is one and why should i chosse one over the other ? in case your worndering why just theses two is becasue my tuner that what he specialises in .....

The DTA is a bit of a fuck about to map.

An engine managment system is only as good as the tuner putting the information in.
You may have the fastest and most powerfull ECU on the market but if the tuner does not spend the time (and you need lots of time) to enter a spacific value in all the load sites then it makes no differance what you are running.

no well my tuner is the dogs and i mean that , if a mapped n/a 1.6 zetec 16valve fiesta at 211bhp isnt anything to go by i dont no what is ..or 1.3 nova with 150bhp ..hes a rally engine builder so hes the shit lol

he tunes and builds rally cars for all different people in ireland and all around the world thats the two that he recommends for me on my car but ive no idea which one or type , he says that the emerald one is a a nicer lay out on the sofeware but they are borth very much the same so its up to me tp choose lol

Both do similar things so its up to you to choose as he says.

Some of the quick rally cars have DTA (went to an event 2 weeks ago where 1st 2nd and 3rd were all running DTA)

The S60 is not as popular out in the competition field yet so stick with the P8 if your thinking DTA.

If your going Emerald, buy new with the latest upgrade.

Im in a catch 22, my best mate works at DTA and I run Emerald

we deal with them both at work both very popular systems each has there own benefits
