if you are using 4wd cossie calipers they bolt on to the original position but you need spacer washers to make the caliper sit on the disk correctly.

using 2wd 4 pot calipers you have to have 3- 4 mm machined off either the hub or the inside of the caliper face.

I've got 2wd calipers n discs on my s1. Had to machine 4mm off the mating face. they don't fit behind the standard wheels but they are awsome!!... a good excuse to get some nice wheels too

Not quite clear if you mean the front or rear?

If you have a 4x4 as said above the Calipers will be a direct fit with a pair of washers made for the offset. You will need to use 2wd disks tho.

The back is just as simple but you will need to fit a pair of Stainless Steel brackets for the carrier to bolt to. They cost £35

HTH

Jano do you make the brackets with the caliper mounted in the position they sit at on a standard car?

There are reasons the calipers sit like that.

But yes i do have brackets which hold the caliper at 3o'clock when looking at the hub.

3 o'clock?? Sorry i meant at 12 o'clock like a sierra. I found the passenger side was a bit of a tight stretch on the handbrake cable, mine are mounted between 1-2 o'clock currently.

What are the reasons if you dont mind me asking
