Best for what? There are as many geometry setups as there are conditions, purposes, driving styles. It is also a matter of compromise between stability, cornering balance, cornering speed, turn-in and tyre longevity.

On road car it's even harder to find good compromise.

Also what kind of adjustments are possible on you r car? Anything above standard front toe?

I think 2,5 degrees forn and 2 degrees rear camber works well on Escos on road tyre, mybe a little less, you'd realli need to experiment a little because it's very much suspension/tyre dependant. I have never driven an Escos on 18's.

3-4 castor

Rear,

I'm sure its 0.5mm toe in on the front which is ideal. There meant to run parallel, but people set them to toe in so they pull straight when accelerating.

i set my xr2t with toe out, so when it accelerate's it pulls straight.

just look up how i last set my cossie up. (2 years ago) Road / trackday / sprint car.

Front,
1mm toe in, 2' camber, (castor wasnt adjustable at time @ 1')

Rear, on shimmed std beam.
2mm toe in, 1' camber

Avo coilovers, 450lb front springs, 240lb rears.
With 1220kg trackday wieght, no driver and 1/4 fuel,
2430 wheel base, 1652mm track width Front +Rear.

My Xr2tt runs

15" zetec s wheels on 195/45/15 Goodyear F1's for road and wet track, Dunlop slicks for dry track.
- Gaz front coilovers, 300lb springs, -50mm front, -60mm and spax adj rear, poly bushed.
-Fronts, 4' castor, 2.5' camber, 2mm toe in for track, 0.5' camber, 1mm toe out for sprints and road.
-Rears, 0.5' camber, 1mm toe out. (solid beam, but will make fully adjustable if i get it back on the road)

thank you,
i try your settings tomorrow!

wow,very impressive,
you run 300lb springs on a 900kg car?
and 450lb on a 1200kg car?

they aren´t good for street driving or?
could you describe the handling on streets?

best regards chris

Cossie =
1365kg in road trim inc full fuel tank, and driver (i wiegh 85kg's)
as trackday trim = 1305kg, full fuel and driver

Xr2 =
as on road 1035kg (inc me at 85kg), 1/4 tank of fuel, with tools, spare and stuff.
Track trim = 985kg with me.

they are both fine on the road, but i'm willing to sacrefice (sp) ride for track performance.

on the track i use road legal tyres on the cossie and full slicks on the xr2.
