Gatecrasher that should give you an idea, when i fitted it properly i put it in the top din hole at an angle so you can see it better.

Very nice

how does it work then you have your car mapped at the top setting and the just turn it down to what low setting you want?

if that is the case can the Ecu work out how much fuel air ect is needed at the lower settings or does it have to be setup like this?

cheers

i have been using the apexi AVC-R for near 3 years now. Excellent piece of kit... as long as the engine was mapped correctly in the first place the lower boost setting will be fine. If you have any doubt, get it on the dyno and checked..

I get a few funny looks with the AVC-R in my 3dr!! Apparently the black ones were a limited edition run.
Looks nice with the BF Defi's too!

The Black was a limited run. I personally prefer the black. It is unusual to see these on the fords but they work so well, why not ??

you would need to remove the air injectors, witch is not a bad thing, but yes.

the avc-r is much better at boost control and a lot safer than air injectors.

i used to run apexi avc-r on my cossie.

better than Air inj's for a few reasons, but some tuners dont like them due to them not knowing how to set them up correctly.

thats just what i thought, i wanted a bit more modern technology on my car so it has an aftermarket ecu, siemens injectors & the avc-r

this is how mine is mounted at the moment,,
