Default White smoke on acceleration & using oil

Hi, in my Kreg saff I see she’s using a lot more oil than usual, has quite some white smoke on acceleration.
What could be the cause of this? I’m told it could be the turbo leaking oil back into the exhaust but I am having trouble finding what seal/s I should buy from where, and is it a job for turbo professionals or normal garages.
if it’s not this I ordered some new valve stem seals. Is this quite a big job?
other than that , she’s done 130,000 and has been running ok, and doesn’t get hot, doesn’t loose any coolant.

help appreciated, cheers Stu

If the engine has done 130,000 miles on the original turbo it could be the problem. Likewise valve stem oil seals. I would advise taking it to a Cosworth specialist to see what they say. It is not really a car that most general garages would have much experiance with.Rebuilding the turbo yourself is not an easy DIY job and is best left to a specialist. Hope you get it sorted.
