I have a gloss black 2wd sappy and I was told that there were 55 2wd made and they were Ford director/ company cars, but theres no real way of knowing but they are quite rare any pics?

I know a lad who broke on for parts years ago. The shell was tired and the rear quatuers were full of bodge.

that is the one. it seems not a bad shell to build up from. as my blue 4x4 is a bent and repaired badly car.
full re spray needed mind you

please tell me more as it all seems ok and some one had started a restro on the car, with the under side fully ristored and painted. car needs full flick to look nice again

My mate killed his gloss black Sapphire about 8 years ago in Brum,so thats one less and my g/black one in my sig was broken up by RS Classics 3 owners later down the line.I know he sold the shell on complete though G821 WAV .There cant be that many left
I just remembered I also have a set of Sapphire doors which are g/black etched F200 PTW so another one gone.

How much is this lowered by, it sits sweet with them wheels same as mine but it sits way lower and catches the front arches on lock.

I bought it off one of the original owners, he'd had it from a very young age,, then it went to paul at north yorks rs spares..

Last I saw it was on track at national day a few years ago and it was flying!

It was completely original bar a stainless exhaust, so non vented bonnet etc.. I did put some brand new diamond cuts on it,, but the paul north yorks made a good offer and it went..

It was a nice car I'm sure I bought it off the second owner.. Iirc he won a 3door cosworth that got stolen and the saph replaced it. I went for it ny eve night in Ipswich.

Has it got the original engine fitted? As when i last saw it, it looked big power the way it went.

Great to see other black saff's. JUst noticed that my car has oval shaped clear side repeaters on front wings, compared with all others with amber square type. Is this correct? Maybe they were changed by a previous owner to match the clear indicators.

Well it came from blundells in Norwich originally as the rear sticker was in it still, so got some plates done and that.

Don't know if it's the 'original' just standard one now, running stage 3, which worries me as I haven't a clue what miles it's done now, lol
