Can anyone confirm the correct voltage when the throttle is closed
some say 0.23v and others 0.5v

also when the car is hot should the ISCV be getting signal to open whilst fuel pump is priming then close once the pump stops

it looks like someone has drilled out the small butterfly stop screw on my throttle body and it’s got a screw that can be adjusted now only way I could get it to tick over was to adjust this ( opening the butterfly slightly)

I'm getting some funny things happening so if anyone can help it’s would be much appreciated

The voltage should be between 0.05 V and 0.30 V. Below 0.05V you will get an error and above 0.30V the self learning for the exact signal of the throttle closed is suspended.
Anywhere from 0.15V to 0.20V is ideal.

N.B.: These figures are for the standard management of Sierra and Escort Cosworths.

The ISCV is switched live, on 2WD this is part of the pump circuit (which also powers the Amal).

However, on the 4x4, the ISCV supply was moved to the ECU relay circuit.

The ground is controlled via PWM (relevant to ECU input) which operates the valve.

When hot it won't open, as it's not required (unless a heavy electrical demand is applied).

It does not "control" the idle as the name implies, as the base idle governs this, what it does do is increase the idle speed above this.
