S2 wont start
Only way I can start my S2 is to crank it over while someone holds down the flap on the air meter
Makes no difference hot or cold.
No fuel is getting to the injectors from the metering head. Anyone got any ideas. Could it be a vacuum leak , knackered metering head , poor mixture.
Just changed fuel filter and fuel pump relay. Had new plugs , leads and dizzy cap / rotor arm last year. Still running mfi.
Would be glad to hear from anyone who has had similar issues.

I had a similar issue earlier on in the year. Turned out the earth for the fuel relay was burnt out. Took some finding, as its goes up behind the dash.
Checked obvious, all multi plugs connected, cold start valve etc? Fuel filter on the right way round?

Hi guys. Brand new pink relay on and pump is priming fine. Just cannot get fuel to the injectors. When I bought the car 2 years ago the plugs behind the inlet manifold were the wrong way round which blew the coolant temp sensor but had that replaced.
Gonna take it back in and see if the co2 adjuster is correct as a recon metering unit is over 700 quid and the fuel dizzy over 400 quid

I was sceptical, but now I can leave her standing for 4 weeks with the ECU out and she'll start on the second crank. They just run so much better on EFi, best move I made. Makes sense to give her one last chance on EFi though.
