Default removing sticker marks on a white van?

just got another van but you can see the sticker marks on it , so is it just a case of getting stuck in with some T cut or is there a better faster way? I ask as its a mwb sprinter so quite a lot of work

any help or info would be great thanks

Petrol on a rag works. Also wd40 and a bit of brake fluid on a rag has worked in the past. Then give it all a good machine polish afterwards

t-cut for a cheap fix, machine polish if you can get hold of one would be better.

Try Lakeland's "Sticky Stuff Remover Kit" - Gentle enough to the surface underneath but really good with the sticky residue from all sorts of different stickers. As these things always say, try it on a hidden place first.

thanks for all the replys guys, think I have worded it wrong , as it has no sticky marks its more the colour difference as the stickers were on since new so that's what I am trying to reduce

looking at machine polishers now

best way i found is 1500 grade wet and dry and t cut after. not too much rubbing though. removes slight scratching too. this does not work quite as well if lacquer has been used but great on paint finishes.

Whilst colour sanding and polishing may help you will probably find the main problem is the uncovered paint has got lighter over time and the paint under the logo gas stayed original or even yellowed a touch.

I would try colour sanding a bit the using a bit of elbow grease with the t-cut before forking out wedge.

If the experiment works however order up a DA, pads and cutting compound and become a polishing god

Also if you do go full on I would start with 1500-2000-3000 polish

thanks for the info guys

I have bought some g3 stuff , tried it a little yesterday and seemed to be better than the t cut so will give that a go , but think I may be buying a machine polisher .... cut always use it on the pick up once the van is done

Machine polishing will sort it

What happens is the paint under the stickers is protected, and the paint around gets scratched/swirled/fades basicly damaged

That's why you can see the outlines when stickers/logos/glue are removed
