snow foaming problem
hi guys recently brought a kartcher pressure washer and a adjustable foam lacne the problem is the foam just runs of the car a dose not stick so dose not have time to work properly. is there something im doing wrong or is the lance/washer at fault ??
Dependant on solution , the best i've used is Autobright Magifoam and that covers the car with a nice thick layer whereas the valet pro stuff is proper poor and only puts a thin weak layer on so you have to treble up the solution just to make it worth it.
i even machined the lance a bit to help it flow more fluid to thicken it up if i needed.
i'm using a c120 nilfisk and heard mixed opinions, thought it was that at first, but seems to be the valet pro2 fluid to blame.

i think when i run out of the VP, i'll get something much better, quite like CB's gear.
As AJC did I got an AB lance and AB magifoam entry combo and hey presto foaming goodness.
Currently using CG Mr Pink in the lance and the buckets and once again foam tastic fun
The lance is good and solid with plenty if mix adjustment and the bottle is more than enough to do a car
I have however noticed other lances that look identical but wit a black nozzle but can't vouch for the quality.
The Magifoam is a good product and does exactly what it's meant to
Most snowfoams are per-cleaners and should be treated as such, it just the good ones will do more than just per-clean and leave less work when actually cleaning the car properly.
Depending on how clean the car is or the time since I last did it I can get away with a snowfoam and rinse if I can only get a quick spruce in.
Product so far I have had no complaints with are
• AB Magifoam
• CG Mr Pink (shampoo which you can also use as foam)
I have also used Car Plan Demon Snow which is also pretty good and easily available
This my current weapon of choice

Its not just about the type of foam and % of foam, the pressure washer you use makes a difference aswell as water pressure and temps
For example I can use my nilfisk with the same foam lance with the same ratio mix,the water supply from the same source with same pressure and temps etc
And my Kranzle can foam twice as thick.
