Default ISCV issue Cossie Mangement s2

Have an issue in so far that once car is warm my idle speed is ridiculously high (2-3k revs on average).

If I unplug the ISCV it drops back to normal! When plugged back in it jumps up again! I have replaced ISCV but issue is still there! I am also pretty confident there are no air leaks!!

Anybody have any ideas?

Does it require replacement or wiring wrong? I'm using PF09! Would you be so kind to explain why?

A few months ago I had a friends IAW moniitor linked upto it and from memory it didnt show any specific faults with the TPS.

Furthermore I have noticed that I also appear to have an intermittent boost issue. Sometimes it will reach full boost and others times it wont quite make it and tail off. You can certainly fell the difference when it makes full boost to when it doesnt. I'm talking about it only sometimes reaching 16psi and other times reaching 20psi but tailing off.

I've replace amal valve and checked wiring, actuator appears fine (-34), Im sure its not a boost leak but did not now whether this problem was somehow linked with the ISCV issue.

I think Stu means if the TPS isn't showing closed (Below a certain %) then the ECU will not go into closed loop idle and the valve will stay in a fixed position, in your case open a fair bit.
I've not used Cossie management so don't know for 100% but that's how other management works.

^^ this.

In the case of the Weber there are two different types of TPS, the PF01 has a switch built, which is open circuit when the throttle is closed, thus the ECU knows to activate it's idle and overrun strategies, also the polarity is an inverted of that of a L8/P8 on the L1/L6.

Op, basically you can check the TPS calibration by measuring the voltage at the ECU respective pins, at closed throttle it should circa 0.5V rising in proportion the further the throttle is opened, @ WOT you should have near 5V.

Folks I'll check the TPS again, its driving me mad.

Assuming it is not closing for a minute and working with the IAW software, once the TPS is closed should the reading on the control panel in the software programme be 0.00 and then increase as the throttle is opened.

FYI It is running L6 with PF09 and wires have been reversed to accomodate.

Didn't think you could run a pf09 on a l6 because of the open circuit when the throttle is closed.

Mine ran that way, but it had a pectal board fitted so that might make a difference.

You can get L6 close but not perfect on a PF09. It needs a PF01 to be perfect as its open circuit, which is why when you unplug it, the strategy reverts to idle table.

Get it as close to zero on IAW as you can and go from there. After a few degrees of throttle opening it drives the valve open to prevent it from sticking closed.
