Default MK1 Focus RS

Im thinking of selling my M3 and getting one of these, just a couple of questions i wanted to ask: Wot sort of MPG do you get from them, i know it aint gonna be great but i want something abit better than the M3 and also do you need to run them on super unleaded?

Also its gonna be used as a everyday car so wot sort of power is reliable, ive heard 300bhp is safe? I will have around 10k to play with, will that get me a good example?

Thanks for any help

10k Will get you a very good one. 300BHP is the norm now and returns about 25mpg. These cars are ran on super unleaded also.

i struggle to get 20mpg from mine and its standard as above around 180 miles to a tank, but depending on how u look at it it aint too bad, i only ever do short journeys i dont drive to work and very rarly do long journeys so town drivin will reduce my mpgs

Really depends how you drive them. I can see well over 300 miles from a tank on long journeys, around the doors I get 250+ and on track I've had less than 100 to a tank!
