will i need a timing tool for a td cam and pump belt change?
as above i'm doing a cam belt and pump belt on my td never done a diesel so was wondering any of you out there that have could tell me what i'll need to time it up or is it all marked on the pulleys?

You don't use a locking bar on the cam at all, these engines are locked by means of pins, cam, pump, crank, all pins, so use drill bits, make sure you do BOTH belts, most just do the timing(cam) belt leaving the pump belt alone to snap and wind itself up in the timing belt, but easy to change also at same time, just buy a complete belt kit, containing both belts.

Cheers lads where am I going to find these holes mainly the pump one or are they all self explanitary, and i'v already bought a kit tabz as it wouldn't be common sense not to replace the hole lot
