Hi Mike,
More important to choose the correct type, best is BCF but illegal now except for certain things, so that leaves AFFF, Aqueous Film Forming Foam as the best, cheap enough work well on all things car related.
Are the fans still going ok, got some metal in so can knock you up a rear strut brace at same time as doing pump rewire if you want, metal only about Ł3-Ł4, take 10 mins!!

You ideally want to keep it in the cabin of the car at easy reach, passenger footwell is ideal. If your car is going up in flames last thing you want is to be rooting through your boot for the extinguisher!

yeah good thinking , makes me want 2 now lol , i read a thread ages ago on PF about a guys focus rs going up in smoke AFTER he,d thought he,d put it out, used all his extinguisher and watched it burn
Extremely unfortunate luck, so i want a fairly big one for boot and something tht will snug up in footwell now lol

cheers

Mike

There is space to fit one either side of each front seat between seat and sill.
If you design the front brace you want and tell me what material you want it from can make ANYTHING you want, front makes a massive difference esp under heavy braking I've found.
