it could be all sorts of things .... even a bad fueling set up but check the turbo and boost pipes for oil and it could be signs of the seals hardening when cold cause oil to seap through

Cheers joe
if the staem seals where gone it would smoke when you let off the throttle .... they are easy to change mate just get a set of seals and a rocker cover gasket.

tools make sure you have a good pen magnet to get the collets out to remove the valve springs out..

just turn the engine over untill the one you are changing is slack and push down hard with a big ring spaner on the ring end or get a valve spring press and use the magnet to remove the collets take of the spring and fit new stem seals... then just put it back how it was. then there is no need to remove head.....

hope this helps

sounds like over fuelling on startup, mines a pig when cold for this, but never have time to sort it out.
if that's not the case then could be turbo seals on the way out.

the only thing i will say is the turbo can leak from the turbine seal thought
blowby and heavy breathing engine

the turbine seal is a small piston ring and will be the first seal to blow when
the is a lot of crank pressure also bigger turbo exhaust housing will help
to leak as there is less back pressure in the exhaust

just something to think about
