Any of you do gooders saying coppers are wankers actually notice that the tazer had very little effect on him, try using a tazer on someone who isnt pissed or off their face on drugs and you'll see why it's so hard to restrain him, he's blatantly either mental, on drugs or extremely pissed. Use his baton? What like (the force) that masked copper in London who whacked that poor bloke to the floor whilst he had hands in his pockets and later died? Not saying it happened here but the police are sometimes OTT for no reason. But the guy in that video didn't "kick out" at all just moved his feet, look at the pace or lack of movement and he had just been shocked. No need to shock someone twice just for tensing their hands IMO, not when he's one chap on the floor against 4 coppers.

Bit of a sweeping comment from you to be fair, I've not been stopped that much at all and neither do I have a criminal record or any valid points on my license. There are some good police and stories about but maybe some people have just had a bad experience from police also.

I remember when I had to be a witness in court, they were all nicey nicey at first when I gave statements and all that help but when I tried to get out of going to testify due to fear of repercussions they left me some pretty nasty voicemail and hassled all my family. Crime was nothing to do with me either, just sold someone a car who used it in a drive by shooting/murder. A lot of them are cunts, simple as.

He was clearly told to get out of the way and make himself scarce...which is pretty sensible of the coppers when they know that it's all going to kick off......the bloke was blatantly ignoring them and being awkward, he know what he was doing and he knew he was provoking a reaction......funnily enough he got one. A lot is not all or you. Majority of the ones I've dealt with or spoken to are on power trips like the example I provided you. The guy in the Youtube clip may have deserved it in terms of being drunk or what he did, I don't know I can't see that part but IMO two tazzers and 4 coppers plus arm punching is a bit strong just to arrest one guy.

You seriously telling me they police couldn't handle it better? Even handcuffs and in the back of the van would be better. I agree I can see it that way as it was all over the BBC news etc so to them I was messing about but having had them in my house several times, took time to provide a statement, prints, dna swab so they could concentrate on them involved, ID a head unit etc and even gave them a disk with pictures of the car and a spare key still had, I thought I did more than enough. Trouble is there were several receipts with the log book with my full name and address so I was feeling awkward about going to court in front of them. Can totally understand people like the Liverpool Ryce Jones case who actually lived around the people involved wouldn't want to come forward easilly.

They got 30+ years each in the end but the police suddenly turned when things weren't their way. I could easilly have said "don't remember".

Slightly excessive maybe but he wasnt complying with the police. The police are not required to "make allowances" for peoples bad behaviour/lack of judgement when drunk. If you choose to not comply with the police when your drunk then your a idiot and will come off worse off no matter how "hard" you think you are.

had the guy been compliant then i could understand the outcry. The police have the right to use force to arrest people when they fail to come quietly. He had a choice, he could of come quietly rather than fight and be aggressive. if hes boozed up and incapable of making that choice for himself then surely he needs to stop fucking drinking so much
