Default standard suspension, opinions please

I dont know about you guys but im personally fed up with the state of the roads and want a bit more comfort.

Ive a 25 mm lowering spax sport kit on my s2 and i find its to low and a bit unforgiving should the stealth pot holes catch you out. so was thinking of sourcing some standard springs and shocks as i have never had the standard set up im un aware of what its like

whats your opinions on this

Cheers Kev

would i be able to put standard spings on my 25mm drop spax? wont that just compress the spring more once on the shock?

Also does anyone know where you can get the standard set up where you wont get your pants down?

Remember hearing how the adjustment isn't for comfort just for life of the shocks, need to get gradually harder over time IIRC...

also imo the s2 rs turbo is that low to start with that surely the standard suspension must still handle quite well?

the springs i had from a standard suspension of another turbo, it sits about 10mm to high for my liking on back but front looks fine, i'll see if i can get some photo's of it for you but apart from coilovers it's the best ride i've found for a road turbo so far and i've tried a few combinations

ive got some standard excellent condition springs that i took off my s2 and replaced with 40mm springs, car has only done 42k miles so plenty of life left in them.but it still sits too high.so im gonna have to buy ome 60mm ones.rather have looks than handling.
id sell my standard ones or swap them for some 60mm springs??

My last S2 was a standard low miler (60k) which was on the original springs and a set of aftermarket monroe gas dampers and it rode really well. Comfy as a S2 can be, it even suited the car being at the right height.
