Default Gotech Help Pleeeeese!!!!!

Struggling abit with fitting Gotech Mini X ECU......

Anybody know which wire is which on a S2 T.P.S ???

I know one is + , one is GND and one is signal, colours are brn, brn/blk & brn/grn, but what's what??????

Also, the Gotech loom has a wire labelled C.A.S which i'm sure goes to the dizzy, but again not sure which order

And lastly, whats the best way to wire + & - supply to ecu on a S2 ???

Any help appreciated
Cheers

sorry i didnt reply to your pm, ive been struggling with mine again lol im only using the map sensor, no TPS but im only running the basic mfi not the mini x, i took the positive from a switched ignition then an inline fuse/relay, the earth goes straight to the battery negative

if you find out the TPS wiring could you let me know as ive been wondering this aswell as apparently just using the map sensor is missing information to the ecu

cheers
joe

You know it's not a proper TPS on a S2? It's just a switch.. are you gotech will work with this switch, or does it require you to retrofit a proper TPS?

doesnt the manual as supplied explain how to use a multimeter to figure out the connections? im sure my gotech mfi manual had this in?

failing that , log onto the gotech forum and post this question , plenty people there to help and loius from gotech is one of the moderators

cant actually remember myslf as i did mine about a year ago.

dont know why you want to run tps though , boosted motors should be run on map

Spoke to Mark @ Jamsport, and sussed it all now.........

Gotech manuals are I.M.O shite.... but thanx for the heads up on the Gotech forum

Will be running on Map sensor primarily, but T.P.S gives extra info' to the ECU, which can only be beneficial.

U finally got it all now then mate hey, good stuff. A mate of mine had nothing but trouble with his gotech package, the wiring diagram they give u is shit isnt it, for a while he wondered if he had been given the wrong manual lol.

manual is shite , but it does actually make sense

Gotech forum is a quick and easy solution to questions

tps is not required , only useful to tell you that your pedal is connected to your throttle properly and that your throttle is opening full
