Default problem with gotech any help???

Hi all got a gotech management a couple of days age to run my fiesta turbo motor,the guy i got it off said it come off an escort cossy,spoke to jamsport and they said the ecu's are all the same appart from the maps they put in them etc,the wireing was straight forward so done that in the rain yesterday and got soaked but within an hour it was all in and sorted.Had my battery on charge for a couple of days so put that on this mornin again in the rain feckin weather!!.So tried startin the car earlier and it fired up and came to life after 5 months of sittin there,it idled very low for about 40 seconds then died again,if you try and rev it it will just cut out any ideas would be appreciated the management is gotech pro v5.Many thanx for any help.

Seems like you have not got it mapped yet?, It will be running what ever map was on the Escort cosworth, which is nothing like a cvh turbo

Get it mapped, or it WILL break

surely it will be running rich as anything need to take fuel out get it mapped

Ring Jamsport back up, book it in, load it on a trailer take it and get it mapped.

presuming youve changed some of the settings to start it? like 36-1 pick up instead of the cossy trigger and phase sensor?

I didnt change anything on the wireing or ecu,im running a crank sensor and coil pack i will get it off to jamsport and get it sorted.
