well its sort of false advertising, some mug may go out out and buy a 21k 161mph vectra with the pretence of beating a 500bhp 5 series

pull up along side one at 70mph and get absolutely cained

10 mins later after the bmw is bouncing away on the limiter he catches up, not really quicker than an m5

I got an email offering me a 335d for Ł419 a month so not really that much for one. Guess the credit company wont be happy about it being chipped. or did your dad pay Ł45,000 cash for it!

 

a Vauxhall with a higher top speed than a restricted M5 which potentialy is much faster can no way be called faster than a M5 and saying so is a flawed comment.

IMO theres a big difference between a quick car and fast car. In the aformenetioned quote Clarkson never said it was quicker, only faster, which is correct.

No one is jealous if the person in question is humble about what they've got (like Porkie for example) but if you come across as a bragger, you get ripped, and deservedly so.
