It's my sister in Law's birthday next week. Me and the wife have come up with the mad idea of getting her a REALLY cheap little Fiesta/Corsa etc.

I haven't bought a cheapie in yonks, and all the usual places have turned up nothing. Can't be doing with Ebay as it takes too long and I don't know what I'm getting. Anyone have an ideas where all the cheapo Fiestas/Corsas etc go these days?

Budget is £300 max. It just needs to be a running car, nothing special. Would prefer something with MOT and tax lol... Not asking too much eh?

If someone has something with no mot that needs a bit of work doing I'd be up for that.

Id go to the auction mate. Its suprising what you can get for a few hundred quid nowadays.

Adtrader for that budget.

Go to any of the auctions in the town and for £300 you'll be looking at about £96 indemnity on top of that.

Seriously I use the adtrader all the time, can't fault it and most folk will come down a good bit on price.

Going up the auctions tomorrow, and ad trader seems empty compared to the old days..

 

go to main dealers or car supermarkets and ask if they have any cheap PX's parked up round the back ready to go to auction. You get some really cheap stuff there.

Manheim, up behind the Fruit market. Decent as well all lower end cars go through first so I normally get there about 5:30 and have a wander round.
