think ill beat paul to the punch on this one sounds to me like your not eating enough mate. Up your calorie intake and get some good quality supplements inside you. Change your routine round a bit as well. I think you mean the tablets that you buy over the internet, like NORATEEN or something like 1-AD. They are all shite and dont work. Steroids are not the answer unless you have been training for years. side effects for some people are horrendous as well. trust me.

Hi,
i presume thats your one rep max your refering too?
as martin said your calories intake may well be too low, but your protein content, general nutrition and training may not be correct
As to your question regarding anabolic steriods, i think you'd be daft to have them. Although the apprent public view that this is a 'sure fire way' of gaining strength, research is very conflicting, with many suggesting gains in strength via steriods are purely down to psychological factors. Anyhow, there are the many medical implicaitons and known side effects to this supplementation and also the cost of it. In my opinion, why not train safely, honestly and instead optimize and improving other areas such as your general nutrition (i.e. a mass protein product) and training, without running the risk of dangers

As Martin said, don't waste your money on the supplements that claim to work like steroids. Nothing works like steroids but steroids and IMO you don't want to be touching those until you have a good few years training under your belt, have managed to put on a 2-3 stone naturally, and have really thought about the potential side effects and consequences.
Everyone will do really well naturally if they make sure you get your Training, Diet and recuperation spot on. If you cut corners by taking gear early on you'll just loose it all when you come off it because you haven't got the bascs right.
Check out the sticky to help you work out your diet. Biceps like other small muscle groups(calves) tend to grow well when you are putting on weight, but unfortunately none of it is easy
Good luck.
