Default Bicep work out

iv tryed this bicep work out on this youtube video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IlpzNRgOxY

i do it like he says, well the 21's at lest, on my last set my biceps are burning and just about cant finish the rep

Ill then do 2 sets of revers curls again on the last rep its burning like fuck

Then ill do some wrist curls normal and reverse

Now by this time my forearms and biceps and really really tight and its difficult to do anything, is this the "Pump" lol

And also after this is hard to do any more bicep exercises, i mean as if im out of enery, i dont know if this is a decent arm workout or not but the next day they are sore

Anyone got any tips on how to have more energy or something to do like some sort of dumbell workout or once u get the pump is that you pretty much spent?

I do 12 sets for my Bicep and the same for tricep and both are growing nicely. That tight feeling is the pump, yes. Sometimes I don't get it much and other times I feel like my arm is going to burst. It's caused by blood rushing to your muscles I've always been led to beleive... How much energy you have depends on what you eat as well mate. If I don't eat properly I am like a slob as soon as I enter the gym.

Drink lots of water, and get some carbs in you before you train. If you are half way through the workout and feel slow, your gym may sell like energy boosters. Down one of those I guess. However, eat correctly and you won't need them.

Good advice Benni, after a hard day at work a red bull is a must with creatine before training for me!

Try not to eat massive amounts before training as a vast amount of blood and energy is required to digest so i'd only eat 1.5 hours before training and then possibly a slow release energy source just before i go in.

I usually eat at 3 and arrive at the gym for not long after 4.
