im just worried though about any usual problems with the festers
the filler has started to bubble, but im sure it left the factory like that so im no toooo fussed
what are the major killers of the rs??? any suspect signs i should look out for???
knowing my luck, due to my previous history with fords, itll be a stinkin shitter

would check the sill's....look at the lip the folds down under the car...if it 's metal your laughing... noisey tappets...either wrong oil or dead cam....any nocking noises are probably lower arms that need replacing...brakes will probably be crap...bleed the brakes as it does get forgotten about....and if it looks old ,change the cam belt..

you will fine that at high revs the t2 tends to run out of puff ...the t3 will pull and pull and pull!!! as for more power ...if it was a totally standard engine you may see a small gain...but the t3 will work much better with other mods...cam's..etc..

when you have the car see what manedgement its on and well talk more...and remember if its a daily you dont want loads of power....and the reliability issues that come with it..

Go stage one, superchips do a conversion,
should be good for around 170bhp. for about Ł500 ish.
S/S exhaust and a K&N filter 57i will help also
Being a lighter car it should keep up with your mates S2
