few questions if anyone can help,first why cant i hear anything on pf radio.When viewing the direct line homepage top of page seems ok but when you scroll down the words are so big you can only get a couple of letters on the screen at a time,lastly when you play a audio cd in the drive on pc the sound quality is terrible i dont think there is any base or treble adjustments available ,thanks in advance.Bob

 

oh sorry just one more thing,when on PF BB the text does`nt fit on the screen i have to scroll ? side to side all the time to read it all? Ta again.

 

Can you hear the radio normally, say if you go to www.kiss100.com and do the listen live ? Does it work ? With regards to the screen text, you could try resizing your general screen area, right click the desktop, click properties, click on settings, and change the screen area size, failing that, open internet explorer, click view, then text size and change it.

And with regards to the sopund quality, is that regardless of what cd it is ? Right click my computer, left click properties, if xp click on hardware, if not ignore, click on device manager, click the little plus next to cd-rom / dvd drive. double click on the drive you will have there, click on the properties tab, and there will be an option regarding digital playback, tick / untick it, restart the pc and test it.

as for cd any one does it now tried turnin down vol in device manager bit (you can prob tell im well into pc`s cant you) and also have turned off graphic eq in windows media player ,sounds much better now,as for text sizes etc havent got that far yet,thanks for your help Dan

Right, go into the device manager again, and click on the + next to sound video and game ctontrollers, and tell me what you have there

Right, click on the Intell(r) 82801 AA AC'97 Audio Controller and then left click on uninstall, once uninstalled, shut down and restart the computer, it should then reinstall that device, try it

Been there,done that,what should happen now?.Tried the Kiss FM link to start with played for about 15 secs then off for couple of secs and back on again but longer i listened the shorter time I could hear anything,tried the PF Radio link but still cant hear anything,ta Bob
