Got a strange problem with my start menu with Vista. The start menu icons changed all of a sudden to the "F" logos you can see in the pic - the "F" is the logo for my F-secure internet security program. Can't seem to change it back to the windows default icons now:
Either that or use system restore to the day before it changed Works for me
Last resort though for me, theres one or two things he could try which wont take a second, if that dont work then good ole system restore to the resue thats if hes hasnt turned it off like a mate of mine
Plus why would you have Vista only to use classic menu's?
First thing I did on my new laptop was to turn off the Vista features, its almost twice as fast now
Precisely - i hate the "user friendlyness" look of all the default Vista toolbars - especailly the pointless sidebar. Minilism is the way forward
Ive tried changing it to Vista's default menu system but when i changed it back to classic it was the same problem. Im starting to think it might have been an internet security update that has mucked thins up.
Anyone know why i have no desktop icons on my vista even though there are icons in the desktop folder through explorer?
Have you setup dual screen desktops? You could be outputting only one layer of the screen. This is the system people use when using a dual monitor setup.
