over the last few days i keep getting signed into some kind of windows messenger?


Its not normal windows live messenger as I can see Im not signed into that.

what can be happening as it seems to be all my normal contacts??

 

That will be windows messenger, the one that comes bundled with windows.
Theres a way of getting rid of it if you dont want it.
Go to control panel, then click on "Administrative tools" then "services", then scroll down to the messenger(its in alphabetical order), double click on messenger and then in the middle of the box click on the drop down menu and hit "disable", this will then disable windows messenger so you wont get any crap pop up or automatic sign in
Your normal windows live will work, dont worry about that.

Go into control panel, then add/remove programs, click on windows components on the left hand side, scroll down to the bottom and untick windows messenger, apply ok etc etc. Then, remove all entries of it from your start menu. Shut down the pc and restart it, once on desktop, open my computer, go into the c: drive, then program files and delete the messenger folder.

Job done

 

 

How the hell did your messenger load up automatically when it was disabled already mines disabled and i havent had any issues for years
