Nice shots mate, farcry is an oldish game now but christ it still impresses most people today, especially the water, and i swear those leaves are real

Yeah its definatly worth getting, along with 2142(seriously i know i keep on about it but it really is the best game ive ever played)

I got the Battlefield 2142 expansion pack Northern strike lastnight, theres some great new maps/weapons/vehicles and also the addition of a night map is nice

me and my mate went to 40ft in the air in the jet and jumped out and doing mad stunts on the way down

i got this one of him and i dont think i can get any better



we could also get back in the jet as its falling to the ground aswell

there is teeth only on the black chopper though

heres how you kill the goliath

1 the goliath repairs itself automatically

thers a numerouse blue flashing lighst around the goliath, these need to be destroyed to stop it repairing itself, once all these are destroyed its easy to kill it

Im surprised how many NS servers there are already with like 50 per side, it was only officially released today

 

dont forget most people got thers yesterday

as soon as we got it we set our server up and within 2 mins its was full lol

got to admit i love battlefield 2 on the pc...major game ..lost so many hours on that its a sin to think about it...

many 8 hour shifts even though i was shit ..well not bad ..

but always played by myself LONEWOLF not in teams like loads do ..

i tried but could never find a server to hook me up with the players ..

i think you run one iirc..and scoobynet too..

i was just happy running around popping caps in there arse

but the blue red team error started to piss me off ..

has that been fixed btw as i havent played in ages

where sometimes your team has there colour code name ..



hey dude im on your team you shoot then get kicked off the server

 

avid theres not shitty issues like that with 2142, they have sorted it out after the 3 or 4th patch, mines runs almost spot on now

And on 2142 in titan mode your kinda sometimes forced to do abit of teamplay even if you dont like it, i.e you all start the game, you jump in a chopter, common sense tells you not to just fly off, wait a bit to see if anyone else wants a lift, just little things like that, before you know it your well into it

 

the red blue tags had been sorted almost a year ago

bf2 is still very good, i just have to download the new patch if i want to go on, but gotten use to 2142

iv had no issues with it bar when titans are too close to each other and it lags like a bitch

but ea fukt up and they have sad they have as titan mode cannot support more than 48 players still carnt now , but they have made it so we can lock the titans and its job done dont get any lag now


2142 is a g tottally different gameplay to bf2 im afraid

i do think its more lonewolf and not as much team work involved


but if you are in a squad /clan etc then the team work does pay off

 

I gave up with BF2 when 2142 came out, i bought it and only played it twice, completely ruined the BF series if you ask me

So now my 256mb Nvidia 7800GTX sits covered in dust and unused

These days im more into my xbox 360 and the HD games that go with it, GRAW2, Test Drive, Crackdown etc are all stunning

Yeah Half Life 2 is brill. Not finished it yet mind. Finished the first one all those years ago then when I started playing all these newer games on my old PC I got bored of them. Now that I've got a new one I've got alot, and I mean ALOT, of catching up to do.

 

new games on a shit pc that can only run them at low/medium settings is nothing like running them at highest settings like they are intended to be
(still waiting for my Far cry to be delivered, ive completed the 2 demo's )
By the way billy ive heard there was a patch or something for Far cry that allows you to use HDR(high dynamic range lighting)? if you dont know what im talking about just google "HDR lighting" and search for the patch, be good to see what its like
