How do you get the console to type this in? what the heck is it ive read though most of that article but it doesnt say how to type it in, only says what to type in, im probably just being thick as its very late now

P.s Test drive unlimited is meant to be a good game anyway

 

When your in the game just press the key next to the No. 1 at the top of the keyboard ( I'ts got some wierd symbol **** on it ) and type what it says without the " thingy's

 

Excellent i certainly knew when i got it right anyway, im trying to decide how HDR looks better, outside or inside? think they both look good.

Yeah id be pretty hacked off too, but you have a good reason to play it agian and enjoy the delights of HDR

Tomorrow im going to have a research to see if its possible to use AA and HDR together, you never know

 

OK then. Test Drive got delivered so It's consuming all my spare time. It really is that good. I'll put one screenshot on now then some more after work ( if I can get off it )

Does it run well with the settings pushed up on your system?

 

Yeah runs around the 60fps with HDR and everything maxed out

 

Cool 60fps is more than a playable speed

This is why i was getting shot through the hut walls(i didnt make the holes)


Never noticed there was holes in the wall, otherwise i wouldnt have thought it was a bug damn theres nowhere to hide in this game unless there solid brick walls

Yep far cry is a nice game, im really enjoying it too

The Test drive game looks damn good, graphics look mint aswell

Yeah but the pc can do more than a ps3 can ever do, plus when we want to upgrade graphics or whatever, its just a case of 2-300 quid, and thats it, what do console owners do when theres gets out of date? throw it in the bin or sell it for 50 quid on ebay and buy the next gen console for another 500

EDIT, pc games are 10 quid cheaper aswell

LOL. You won't regret it. The game is massive. so many missions. Then theres online play. I can't stop playing it.

whats the aim of the game then as ive never played any of the Test drive series of games? i always thought it was like Ridge Racer or Progect gotham on the xbox but i think its more like driving round on your tod with a time counter and a certain time to do different tasks?(thats what it sounds like)

EDIT to say how come some shots dont have the speedo/map on screen?

Some screens don't have speedo etc. because there is a PHOTO mode where you can pause the game then move the camera round to any position or add some effects and take a photo. I thought it looked better without all the other stuff on screen but I didn't add any effects. What you see is what the game looks like. To be honest it actually looks alot better. The quality doesn't look as good in these pics and that exagerated widescreen is annoying

I have an overclocked Radeon 9550, running to the equivalent of the 9600 i believe.

And I shall be purchasing a GeForce 6600 GT with any luck

How did it perform?

 

I was quite happy with it but there's nothing like wacking up the detail on an 8800gtx

It played most games fairly well. Not sure how it will handle TDU though. Should be OK.

How did you get the photo's off the game? is it a screen dump or what?

I'll show how TDU looks on my new graphics card, just bought the PNY GeForce 6600 GT I was on about

 

I use a program called FRAPS. It takes 30sec video clips aswell ( longer if you register)

 

Drew most games you can press f10 or f12 depending on the game and it will take a screenshot and it will be saved within the games folders, or you can press printscreen key.

Loads of different ways

 

I just thought in TDU Photo mode that it would save the pics into a directory, but I couldn't find them.

I did a print screen and got this

Go into MY DUCUMENTS and find where your save game is. You'll see a folder called photo's

I did order from PLAY and it got sent out on the 6th but I presume with Easter it will arrive on Tuesday

Have you played any Battlefield games before? if you havent then it will take you a week or 2 just to get used to all the controls etc, its not that hard its just if you haven't played before theres alot to get to grips with.
