Default Original Monte wheels

Hello,

I'm wondering if the original Monte wheels allow a "normal" big brake kit (305x28 rotors with AP Racing 6600 calipers) as the more common Escos wheels don't.

The most common Escos wheels have been designed verry inefficient, my current setup needs 20mm spacers per wheel. Someone offers me the original Monte OZ 8x16 wheels, i hope to loose the spacers with this wheels.

Haha, noticed that topic ofcourse. Can't afford these wheels now and i do actually like the look of 16" rally wheels on the Escos.

I've got spacers on mine & I'm not running big brakes - I like the way they fill out the arches properly but mainly I like the fact that I've increased the track of the car considerably (so it corners faster) without having to buy wider wheels & tyres which would have slowed it down on the straight bits.

i dont think they will fit with a bigger brake set-up but im running standard and i still stop ok,,,, even on the track adn the nurburgring... although the brakes did give up after 1 lap of that!!!!! had to wait 10mins before they worked proper again/// quite scary

An Original OZ 8x16" ET25 Monte Carlo wheels will fit upto 315mm disc and caliper

That's good news, i've ordered a 308x30 brakesetup with AP Racing CP6600 calipers! Yesterday i've agreed with Chris-r4f to buy his Speedline Safari's witch will be my "ringwheels". Can someone tell me if these wheels will fit my brakesetup?
