The white Subaru is probably the RS200 in the pic and some sort.of kit car.

Brilliant. Substandard cars knocked up in a garage by a non trained mechanic/engineer can be put into regular circulation and sold to unsuspecting people......

sums it up in one mate. I work on lots of vintage stuff and some of the work ive seen is shocking joins in brake pipes with jubilee clips. House wiring and speaker wire for headlights etc.

I suppose the same could be said for many modified, and even not modified but home repaired, cars though I guess...

Slammed on bump stops. 145 tyres on a 8j rim the list is endless. And dont get me started on the pre 1960 cars having no mot,s.

I can't see what difference it being on an age related plate would make to recognising it as a kit car?

I seen a w reg RS200 a few years back. It turned out it was a Toyota MR2 kit car/RS200.
