Default Problems Starting My Escort RS Turbo sometimes!!!!

it seems to be better when it is warm but when it is cold, say first thing in the morning it turns over for ages before it fires, and even then i doesent start straight away! but then other times id go and start it in the morning and it will start straight away! strange and frustrating!!

Any one got any ideas where to start looking for the problem???

Sounds like the car is running too much fuel and the plugs are fouling when the injectors do their initial pump! turn ignition on give it a quick turn over then take a plug out and see if it is soaked in fuel, if it is thats why your car takes ages to start, it removes excess fuel first
