at last something im good at for you mate if you are using gas less weld try setting the speed of the wire so it not too fast or too slow also check that the lengh of the wire is no more that 1/2 of an inch, remember if you are doind panel welding in your car you be better of doing little spots and giving it a chance to cool down so the metal won't flex. see I have got two of them 1 gasless and with gas I got them at b&q (cuz of the price) and the work really well they were about £300 for the two of them.

Well done for trying man any help try my E-mail we may be able to use msn messanger

ive bought a sealey 180 amp mig realy powerfull mig with 0.8 wire or 0.6 will weld upto 7mm thick steel easily and u get a free compressor too all delivered in 2 days !
oh also its best to get a fan assisted welder for continous use as fanless ones loose there power when hot !!!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEALEY-SUPERMI...QQcmdZViewItem

bargain !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, Ive decided on MIG welding for starters using 0.6 wire, whats the minimum and max AMPS i will need on a shell and panels, 30 AMP low enough- 130 AMP max high enough?
I have my eye on a CLARKE 135TE Turbo, mostly due to the price for the spec, SEALEY equipment looks expensive unless you find a deal you really want/need?
