Default drive shaft on zetec

ello again my o/s drive shaft dose not look as if its going right in to the box we tried it were we thought it clipted in but no,half an hour later it popted out again,took shaft out cleaned all splines they look ok condition as dose inside the box

ANY 1 ELSE HAD THIS OR CAN SOME 1 TELL ME THE CORRECT WAY TO DO IT

why did you have the shaft out in the first place .
they can be difficult to get in some times they do need a good push . some brute force and ignorance as they say.

had the shaft out so i could turbo the engine dropted engine and box together can they b quite hard to go bk in i have tried a big plastic hammer and every thing ,i take it its just trying to get past spring clip?
just didnt want to put too much force down it incase i damaged it
BUT WILL IT DEF GO BK IN ???????????????????????????????

what gearbox is it mate?

the RS2000 has a 25 splines on the inner shafts and the std IB5 ones have 23 splines.

if your using the same g/b and d/s that were on the car originally then just line it so yu can turn the hub, and the g/b turns then give it a whack

either wrong shafts or not going in properly.
i usually just put them in then just kick the wheel inwards and they usually just pop in.
you will need the bottom ball joint out to get it in properly
