Default FRST SICK AGAIN!!!! Anybody help?

can anybody help again!!! i brought a fiesta rst a few weeks back and it was running great untill it wouldnt start the other day so i called out the aa and it turned out to be an alternator!! they came out fitted one and it was working ok for a few days then it wouldnt start again i cleaned up the connectors from the starter motor and hey it worked for a day!!!!! then wouldnt start, my mate has looked at the alternator and he thinks the aa have put the wrong one on (55amp for a 1.3) when it should have a (75amp for a 1.6) the car it just not holding charge!! would this be the reason for car not starting as its not holding charge,??its doing my headin as im now driving around in a 1.4 saxo furio!!!!!! !! i want my car back!!!!! any suggestion again would be appreciated!! cheers

i know this might sound silly, but this has happened to me before, get a new battery. as winter kicks in it just kicks hell out of a battery on its last legs. whenever i get a new car i change battery before winter kicks in.
i would also look into the alternator but definately try the battery first,

Get a new battery mate sound's like the battery ain't holding a charge
if it still duz it after you've put a new battery on then something is draining the battery make sure nothing is left on like the light in the boot or an amp (if you have one)

Sounds like battery not holding charge could be a fooked up battery need to get it tested with the car ignition off or you could have something thats draining it. I had this problem once turned out my boot lock was jammed which was keeping the boot light on inside in turn draining the battery.
