Has anyone got any recommendations for someone who could modify a 2WD sump. I want some small wings welding on and baffling/gating. I had to chop the original sump slightly to get the engine into the car so I would like to do this modification primarily to get the oil capacity back up.

I am just about to cut and shut my sump, to get some wings (lovey) on the side. I will see how good my welding come out

 

what type of welder will you use Simon, and what ampage used on the alloy sump??

Dingy and Marco on here have some good examples of modified sumps, I think Danny B could possibly help, he just set up shop on his own and may welcome some work
