hello all any techies out there
got my mits on a 2wd cossie which belongs to a friend, it starts fine when cold and drives nice but will not start when hot.
once its hot if you stall it/turn it off thats it for 20 to 40mins till it cools down
once cooled down will fire up straight away and fine again till you turn it off, makes stopping for petrol a major headache unless youve got a copy of performance ford to read...

its got new coil, ign amp, leads and plugs changed by owner ecu from different car tried but made no difference
any one had similar probs? need to fix it as i might buy the car

 

check the sensor wiring on the crank pulley best seen from underneeth. it can degrade after time mine was ok untill the car warmed up.
