just been lookin at some poly bushes and wondered if anyone has heard of, or is using them DEFLEX bushes, the price of them is cheap and just wondered what they are like,i just want an idea in general .
....thanx
....thanx
Ive heard that most of their bushes are generally ok mate, I cant remember which one it was tho, but my local escort club atleast seven people had problems with one of the bushes in a particular place..
I guess u get what u pay for in the end. Id rather pay the extra dosh and get powerflex mate.

ive got the full deflex cossie kit, the lot was only 100 quid for every bush, all fits nicely, and has really tightened up the car, no problems, clonking or rattling as yet, been on the car for 2 years now
ps, forgot to say, they also give a ful lifetime warranty on them , if one fails, they replace it for free - cant say fairer than that.

look, just fitted my deflex full kit to my s2,
the hardest part is removing your old bushes,
and the hardest most awkward to fit is the steering rack bushes, whilst everything is still on your car
the problem people seem to be having is fitting the rear tie bar to stub axle bush,
the problem being the bush gets pushed out of the cup by the washer when torqued up,the solution is a sequence,
here goes, remove the stub axle to wishbone bolt, allowing the wishbone to hang on the shackles, this will give you movement and play, fit your tie bar to the chasiss side, then fit the bushes to the axle end, through the axle loop,(greased),then tighten up,no twisting and no popping out! when the axle sub to wishbone bolt is replaced, you can then torque up the tie bar to axle end, no problems!
sorted!
as for driving the car,not their yet,but got the road ones,(they do various grades you see),phone em up,my full s2 kit in orange(asked for)+stainless sleeves, was Ł92.50,(with two exhaust mounts)orange also,
they where a breeze to fit,and have a lifetime garrantee!

Thanx for the replies folks,i just wanted an idea what they were going to be like cos if ev 1 said they were totally sh1te i obviously wouldnt buy, and i know ev1 will say they are crap compared to powflex but for the money as long as they are better than O.E thats all that matters to me,Are power flex really worth the money?does power flex really make that much difference for road use?if i was buildin a track car maybe i would need P.Flex but i think the deflex will do me
Hey guys, calm down, all I've ever said was that some people had problems... maybe deflex have improved their products and made them better fitting...
I have a full set of powerflex to fit to one of our cossies and I will be doing it myself, I can tell you then how easy it wasn't

mate,my deflex were really easy to put on,there split design for the turbs, taking the olduns off was tedious, burn the wishbone ones out,off the car obviously
just had to clear up the turbs probs with the tie bar bush
and frog, you fit yours correctly for sure
i have a full deflex set on my saff.. the only ones i couldnt do myself were the rear arms which i had to have pressed out but it feels loads better than the standard ones.. although all were probably fooked..
