crank position sensor
can someone please tell me what would be the sighns of a failed or failing crank sensor, cheers

grank sensors normally work or dont work. if they dont work then the car wont start. they dont often give running problems

is there any sensor or electrical problem that would make the engine knock and smoke like the timing was off? if that makes any sense at all.

I do know a car in which cranck sensor can give problems, like engine cough or missfire. But never heard of that on Ford.

The crank sensors often play games if they are very dirty.
