i checked the oil level today and found that my car had burned every last drop of oil out of it in about 2 weeks.


what the f*c* could be causing this.

is is possible that my turbo seal is gone on the exhaust side and its leaking oil straight out the exhaust and burning it????


No oil in boost pipes and no smoke when i come off boost.

Only smokes when the car is being reved at idle and when accelerating.
and i have a compression of 10bar from each cylinder.


for the love of god help me before i do something stupid like selling it

 

valve stem oil seals????

 

valve seals are new and even if they were fucked they wouldnt drain a sump in 2 weeks.

I tend to think it's the turbo, too.
If it's the stem seals, you usually get the oil burnt off after lifting off then planting it again .. The depression in inlet is sucking it in, then burning it out when you put your fut down again. You can test that to a certain degree.

 

i have similar prob with mine when i back off then put foot down it smokes like a bitch is it seals or turbo?

 

Stu once said that this was due to the lack of exhaust pressure letting particles drop in the exhaust, until you give it a boot full which has the same effect as sweeping a 20 year old chimney

 

how do i cure this re seat valves?

 

the turbo is 6 months old and pulls no probs no white smoke on start up

im pulling me hair out

 

whas does the yellow sticker say on th cam belt cover from new....... "check oil daily"

there is a reason for this...

 

It's a FORD, so its needs "Filling with Oil Regularly even Daily"

 

i do fill oil but dont a tanker to follow me pmsl
