Default Duratec Q....read on.....

Hey there people, another techie question from me - trying to decide on an engine choice for the Viva and am pretty sure it is going to go the way of the zetec black top.

However does anyone have any info on the compatability of the Duratec (st 170) lump to a MT75 box? Would a bellhousing be need to be made up - or are the stud/bolt patterns the same as on a Zetec.

Many thanks in advance peeps.

I'd imagine it would fit because as has been pointed out: the ST170 has a modified 2.0 Zetec engine with VVT and a 6 speed 'box, and the 2.0 Focus comes with an MTX75.
