Default removing the dump valve

On an esc cos but would still like to run the boost gauge, but if i take the dump valve off where the pipe from the gauge and the valve meet there is a T piece so do i need i single piece to just put the gauge on to. Any one understand that??? If so how do i do it??

I just put a screw in the vac pipe going to the dumpvalve and sealed the pipe off.
Works a treat.
