Scott,

Sorry mate, said I wasn't all that clued up on cozzy management.
It is the sensor that picks up the disc at the back of the cam pulley that he had problems with.

Perhaps its time to get it on the back of a trailer and get someone to look at it.
You could be driving it in only a couple of weeks!!!!

Matt.

P.S. Was just reading back through.
You say you have a moded Dizzy that has the phase sensor turned round due to the cam direction being opposite from cozzy to RS Turbo.
Have you checked this is set in the correct position?
Does it generate the correct signals (if any) at the correct time?

matt, the guy who set up my dizzy really knows his stuff, and set it up exactly as what was needed, but its not the dizzy that i think is causing the problems i am fairly sure its due to the crank sensor. as i cannot get any readings other than what i have described earlier out of it.

Rich, yeh i think i am testing it on ACvolts, will have to check later when i get a chance,

Thank god its christmas!!! not because of the prezziesor beer but because i can spend some time working on the car would be nice to get it sorted, all ready for the new track season

Its been along time, but the car finally starts and runs

The problems i was having were a combination of old loom, and a few intermittant faults. I had 3 pins on the ECU which worked when they felt like it, wires in the loom that had started to fray and breakdown with age, hence why occasionally i could get the readings.

I had to admit defeat in the end though and paid someone to come and sort the loom. As i havent alot of time away from work and i needed the car finished so got him to go over the loom, in the areas that i knew there was problems, replace all the loom plugs, renew all ECU pin outs and re-wrap the loom accordingly as he went, all for Ł160

Now its time to get the welder out for the rear turrets

I would just like to say though a massive thanks to Rich and Daz for ALL your help

DazC,
Cossies don't have cam sensors mate...
The Italians prefer the term "Phase" as it is of course the camshafts that determine phase in a 4stroke.

In other words, your wrong Daz.
