when driving my car ive noticed that you have to hold it in 1st and 3rd and cruches into revers which wont actually go in???? ive tried adjusting thepin under neath but then loose 2nd 4th and 5th?????? is my gearbox gone???????

 

had this once on a old car i had, was the syncromesh gone

 

what does that mean am i going to now have to fork out for a new one?????????????

 

ps wheel alignment done was anti roll bar out of line

 

onto the next problem then, my mate also had the same problem as u state, turned out his box was fcuked, but someone else on here should help u more,dont really know much about gearboxes sorry!

 

this is quite common when the pinion bearing breaks up and damages the pinion. The box is knackered
