Default Common problem???

My saff 2wd is leaking oil from the oil pressure switch, is this a common problem or is it just my car

Common problem mate it drip onto the starter motor & catches fire when you start your car (well mine always did)

Just replace it with a new one...there only about Ł8/Ł10 from Ford

Cheaper than loosing oil pressure/engine etc..

Well mine dind't catch fire yet but the last days i lost about 1 to 1.5 ltr oil
Tommorow my cousin is getting a new one for me

i took me car for M.O.T on sat and guess what? i've got the same prob (oil leak from pressure switch) i think i best get it sorted pronto. don't want no fires

Today i changed the sensor en now let's hope that the oil leak is gone , i made a test drive and everything was ok

Did you put any PTF tape round the pressure switch, does'nt matter if you havent, but if it starts to weep a little, put some tape on the thread.

No i didn't, i put some genuine Nissan kit on it and still no sign of leaking.
Why genuine Nissan kit, i work there
