series II rst problem
Hi folks,
My escort seems a bit kangarooish when off the throttle and driving it.
I have only noticed this problem since i replaced the sump, it may have done it before but i only noticed it the day after i did the sump.
Could removing the sump cause these problems, if its not sealing correctly letting in air???
The sump is dry as a bone now and has no oil leaks.
Any help greatfully received, im finding it very annoying
Thanks
James

Bosch KE utilises a closed loop crankcase vent system and constantly draws air from within the crankcase / breathers. Think what happens if you remove the filler cap...
Maybe you had a leak before and now youve fixed it the engine is running excessively rich... get her to a pro for checking over is best advice i can give if shes deffo airtight now.
