I there, I have a problem with a newly aquired Ford Fiesta 1.3 Endura Ghia (1996). On the odd occasion it will cut out when slowing down with the clutch depressed. In addition the car will sometimes act like it starved of fuel at idle speed and when driving along at a steady space. It judders slightly, but usually by opening it up a bit, it will temporarily solve it. I've read that it may be the speed sensor attatched to the gearbox, but do any of you think otherwise?

ive got the same car same year same problem, i found a vaccum leak from the oil filler cap breather hose to the inlet manifold i replaced the pipe and seems to have cured the problem, if c if u have a vacuum leak lift the bonnet start the engine and then switch off, if there is a leak u will hear a sucking sound for a couple of secs after the engine has been switched off
