just realised the pump doesnt run whyen you turn the ignition on, the 4 fuses are ok in the boot, what else can cause it to stop working, is it common for the pump itself to die...?
ive check the ralays and fuses, all ok, and pulled themultiplug off the pump, there isn't any voltage there when you swicth the ignition on,, could it be the abs ecu thats fooked ...?

Hi,
If you hav'nt 12 volts on pump multiplug, pump is not faulty.
You can check the pump with direct 12 volts feed.
May be ABS ECU or earth connection.
Have you disconnected your battery recently ?
Regards.

the relays and fuses int eh boot are ok, and energise, what would stop the pump having voltage to its connector if these are ok when the system is flay and SHOULD be pressurising?

It's the tubular thing sticking out of the pump below the fluid tank. (I don't know if RHD is exactly identical). I think you would have to short terminals on the multiplug but I am not sure and won't advice it as you can brake something.

If you have Cossie manuals or Microcat you have different pump parts named there.
I had this switch failed on mine. It just broke off.

The only tuner who knows about Cossie a bit here says that he never ever encountered ABS pump failure exept from mechanical damage from outside. I know because I asked couple of wweeks ago when I had brakes problems. But maybe it's that swtch. There is procedure for changing it described in manual.
Also I had problems with the plug socket on pump motor but if you don't get live feed when ignition on it is not the case. In my case the socket was completly rotten on the inside. Had to remove plastic covers on pump motor and solder it properly.

working again.!!..it was alaong those lines...
started tracing the main cables from the pump bck after i proved that it works with a direct feed.
got to the battery, there are 2 fairly heavy cables (2.5mm2) that are in their own red sheath... one of these, the actual conductor had snapped inside the insucation, right at the end where yuo have to waggle them to get the abttery charger croc clips on, re crimped the end witha nice new eyelet and hey presto , brakes again.
cheers guys for the help
